Screw it! Lets go windsurfing!
The sets contain:
Cross recess (PH3): 6pcs. M6 x 40, 50, 60, 70 & 80mm
Hexagon socket (SW10): 6pcs each M6 x 40, 50, 60, 70 & 80mm.
+ 20 washers each made of plastic and stainless steel in two sizes. Both sets therefore consist of 110 parts.
+ Optional matching Wiha screwdriver.
All screws are made of A2 and A4 stainless steel, so they are rust-free and great for surfing.
About the box and the screws.
Actually quite simple: We all need screws to fix our fin in the board.
Actually, the matter is quite simple, if it weren't for the fact that there are different lengths required and sometimes horrendous prices are charged for simple screws. (on the internet there are offers of 3€ for ONE single screw (WTF!!!) + shipping costs).
If you know exactly which screw length you need, take a look at our sets with only one freely selectable size.
Actually, it doesn't matter if you try your luck in a DIY store or on the internet, you always pay way too much. Below we have a price comparison with common DIY stores if you wanted to put together our set yourself.
The surf screw box therefore contains all common and required lengths + 20 x 4 washers in different sizes and materials. Everything a surfer's heart desires.
You also have the option to choose a correctly fitting screwdriver. (RRP 17€, with us 10€ ;-) )
The prices at DIY stores, if you want to assemble our set yourself, range between approx. 45 and 83€ (without screwdriver). If you google for fin screws, the prices online range between 1-3€ per screw (incl. washers).
