All SILVER forks are manufactured in high-quality BONDED TECHNOLOGY from 7075 High Tech aluminium. This material from the bike sport provides the spars with considerably more stiffness. In addition, there is the new combination of a round bar in the front area (holding forces act downwards at an angle, so round is stiffer here) and OVAL TAIL SECTION (horizontal sail tension, so ovalised tube is stiffer here). It makes the complete SILVER about 30% stiffer. Together with the hardened front bow, this results in gigantic hardness and durability, so that we grant a 2-year unlimited warranty on all SILVER, even against bending!
The wave-oriented SILVER are constructed from three segments and feature a one-piece aluminium endbow in addition to the intelligent iFRONT 2.0 headpiece. Together with the 28 mm RDM spars, this creates the ideal combination of stiffness and comfort. The bending curve results in an even tension distribution on mast and sail hand. The 180 and 200 cm lengths with performance bend curve are specially designed for freeride sails and have a spar diameter of 30 mm for maximum stiffness.
The solid PROTECTION GRIP coating on the outside effectively prevents deck damage when rigging.
NEW: the entire SILVER line is equipped with the brand new VTS TAIL fitting. In combination with the 2022 Duotone sails, the VTS TAIL fitting offers for the first time a clear visual indication of the perfect clew tension (patent pending).
