The new Naish Foil Fuselage features our new mast connection system, but retains the front ISJ (Indexed Scarf Joint) connection and the rear 2X M6 connection, making our new fuselage 100% backwards compatible with all previous front wings and, since 2018, all rear wings - in keeping with our modular design philosophy.
As the sport of foiling evolves, there are new levels of specialisation and Naish is pleased to now offer our fuselage in four lengths:
55 cm - Our shortest fuselage, designed for maximum turning - popular for surf foiling, kite foiling and wing foiling.
64 cm - The standard fuselage length, offering the best all-round performance and delivering the optimum combination of turning, pumping and pitch stability for surf, wing foiling and kite foiling
95 cm - Ideal for windsurfing foiling for boards with track boxes as well as a good choice for wing foiling for riders looking for maximum pitch stability and control at high speeds
95 cm DT - Ideal for windsurfing foiling for windsurfing boards with DeepTuttle box: the mast position is moved further back on this hull to achieve the perfect balance point for windsurfing boards with a box at the tail.
CNC construction from aircraft grade 6061 aluminium.
(2) Custom M8 screws (mast connection) use the T30Torx screwdriver like the M6 screws connecting the foil wings. (*not included)
The enlarged outer geometry at the mast connection mitigates the increased torsional and bending loads of raised wings.
The new mast connection offers seamless plug-and-play performance.
All threaded connections are fitted with stainless steel Helicoil liners to minimise corrosion.
5x M6 20mm stainless steel Torx screws Wing/stabiliser fixing screws included.
*Not compatible with S26 and older masts.
