The Aero Free is our new performance all-round foil and the perfect complement to our larger Aero High Aspect wings. With the same aspect ratio, the Free comes with a faster profile and more playful turning with less drag!
The Aero Free offers a huge range of use for advanced wing foilers and also works great for surf, SUP and windsurf foiling. The name says it all, this wing is not tailored to a specific discipline, but is a perfect choice in any water and for any rider - whether freestyling, freeriding, freeracing or in waves. With an aspect ratio between 6.5 and 7.3, these are exactly the right wings if you are ready to reduce the surface area and push your foiling to the next level, but don't want to have a specific foil for all conditions. From flatwater cruising to jumps, waves and downwinders, the Aero Free has it all covered! The playful outline and fast profile not only feel exciting everywhere, the wing comes up early and is extremely easy and controlled to fly.
Combined with our AL 3.0 masts and fuselages, you get a foil with excellent handling, solid construction and maximum durability:
Our team has not only tested for months on the water, the developers of our aluminium masts and fuselages have analysed the forces, speeds and different angles of attack of the various situations when foiling and on this basis have developed a new mast profile and fuselages with significantly lower resistance, thereby decisively improving the trim and massively reducing the weight without compromising the strength of the entire system. The AL 3.0 foils are more playful and direct and cover an even wider range of conditions and skill levels.
