Inspired by Hawaiian style downwind boards, the AXIS downwind boards are slim, sleek designs with proven rocker lines. The pronounced edges allow the tail to sink in slightly and, in combination with the straight, stretched outline, ensure that the board rides in a straight line. This makes paddling onto the foil much easier in any water condition.
The boards consist of an EPS core, full carbon and a robust PVC sandwich layer applied only to the EVA deck and are so light that they offer maximum performance. A high-density foam block surrounds the mast rails and is sandwiched between the EVA deck area and the bottom laminate.
They are painted in AXIS' signature red colour for ultimate safety. Customised reinforced board bags are available for every board size.
